Il progetto di quella che viene oggi definita la miglior tribute band dei DIRE STRAITS nel mondo (è stata in cartellone anche all’Hammersmith Odeon di Londra dov’è stato registrato Alchemy) nasce nel dicembre del 2008. E da allora ha suonato in tutta Europa in club, teatri, festival e location open air. Riprodurre le sonorità dei Dire Straits non viene preso alla leggera e la band lo fa con grande professionalità e rispetto con un unico e ambizioso obiettivo: suonare la musica di Mark Knopfler meglio di chiunque altro, in modo da essere secondi solo agli originali. Sabato 9 agosto 2014, a Horta, alle Azzorre, gli iTALIAN dIRE sTRAITS hanno segnato il loro record di pubblico: quasi 10 mila persone! Ma l’avventura continua sempre alla ricerca di nuove sfide e infatti la band ha ora conquistato fedeli fan anche in Inghilterra, Scozia e Irlanda, dove si è esibita nell’ambito di un tour europeo.
